There was only 10 minutes of sunshine to be got in April, and we got it for these pics

Yesterday was a day for the beemers. Mick Kavanagh on his F900 XR led a group of  sixteen riders from Tipp, Clare, Limerick and Cork  including four guests to Ballybunion.  There was a great variety of bikes….. a pair of shiny Harleys and a pristine Goldwing bagger, the usual collection of GS and RTs, Hondas, a Vstrom and Denis’s trusty Benelli. Congrats to one of our guests Henry who brought along his brand new 241 reg F900 GS Adventure that he only collected the day before. Well wear Henry!

Despite the high winds and a couple of heavy showers, we managed to get what was probably the only ten minutes of sunshine allocated for the month of April into this pic. After some grub in the Bunker Bar the group split, with some heading South to Ballyheigue and Tralee, others heading up through those beautiful sweeping bends along the Estuary Way. Everyone got home safe and tired. Exactly the way it should be.
